daelyn is a queer-coded cartoon villain, raised in new england and currently residing in portland, oregon.

they recently received an MA in critical studies and MFA in visual studies from the pacific northwest college of art, where they created experimental work examining the role of the eerie in belief and constructions of reality(s).

they also hold an MA in teaching + learning in art + design in the community arts education track from the rhode island school of design, and a BFA in studio art from the school of the museum of fine arts and tufts university.

in 2015 they founded Marrow PDX, a youth-led radical creative community space, which closed in 2020 due to the pressures of capitalism amidst a global pandemic.

as of 2024 they are the director at I♡Youth2, a new youth arts space by ILY2 ; and they have work in the 2024 Oregon Contemporary Artists Biennial ablaze with our care, its ongoing song (as a founding member of the collective chimæra project).

they’re a revolutionary optimist striving to hold space for inquiry and imagination. <3
